Admissions are made
by the Convener ,ICET basing on the rank obtained by the candidate in the
ICET examination for that year and the reservation policy of the State Government
.
Admission schedule is published
in all leading news papers and the eligible candidates are required to be
present at the online centers for admissions and opt for the colleges where
in the seats are available . They are required to fill in the prescribed
registration cum allotment form and pay the prescribed fees by DD in favor
of Convener ICET.
The allotment of the student
to the college is done basing on his/her rank and category.
There will be no G.D / Personal
Interview for admission. After the centralized admissions are over, the list
of the candidates allotted to a college is sent to college concerned. The
class work starts for the admitted candidates on the date notified by the
affiliating university.
The Convener ICET makes admissions
for 85% of the seats (51 out of 60) . The remaining seats (9 out of 60) are
filled in at the college level under NRI/Management quota as per rules. ICET
exams is conducted at state level , generally in the month of may.
Admissions are completed generally by the end of the August.
